70 yrs, ckd (cr 2.6), htn (bp 160/80), dm on insuln fr 30 yrs. what might be the cause of sudden fall in bp to even 120/70 with severe jerking?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Diabetic issues...: In a patient in this age group and with the problems you are mentioning especially diabetes with CKD the nerves that regulate many functions in the body become dysfunctional and cause changes like this( erratic BP changes for example). What I am very concerned about is the jerking. If it started now needs to go to the ED if not needs to f/u with his doctor soon.Could be low good sugar, stroke, etc.
