Several: There are several new medications for diabetes and diabetes related conditions. One of the newer classes of medications for diabetes are the dpp-4 inhibitors, e.g. Linagliptin and sitagliptin . A new dpp-4 inhibitor being tested by merck is not on the market yet, but this one is very interesting since it is only given once a week, see: http://sgoti.Ws/odqsit.
