A member asked:

Can small fiber neuropathy cause crawling, tingling sensation also over scalp and back or only the lower part of the body?

Usually starts lower: Small fiber neuropathy usually starts in the feet. The exception is a patient with Fabry's disease where diffuse neuropathy usually occurs. The symptoms include abnormal sensation, unpleasant sensation and deceased sensitivity to pain. This can lead decreased recognition of wounds or injury.
