Three Lice Types: There are three different species of louse that can infest humans and are specific for the head, body, or pubic hair. They preferentially live on the specified sites. Not their normal: site, but they can move to eyelashes (especially in children). Crabs or pubic lice (Phthirus pubis) are most likely to be found in the groin area. They may migrate to other parts of the body with coarse body hair such as armpits, chest, legs, eyelashes, eyebrows, beard or mustache.
