A member asked:

My baby girl 2 year old has fungi in her tongue the doctor gave her antibiotic it helps but it comes back again what should i do ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Stopping too soon: Fungus can be a slow growing organism and while it appears to be resolving if you stop the medication too soon the fungus will reappear. If the medication is helpful her doctor is probably on the right track, you may need to continue the medication a few days after you notice some resolution. Follow up with her doctor for further evaluation.
