I was thinking of using lindane for pubic lice its not recommed for people with epilepsy like myself.its it affective.permethrin and lotion failed.

Lindane probably OK: Permethrin is extremely effective and reliable. Are you sure it failed? Are you still seeing live (moving) lice, not just nits (eggs) attached to pubic hair? Also, itching can take up to 2-3 weeks to clear up, even when treatment is successful. But if you need lindane, it should be safe if not grossly overused or ingested. But check with the doctor treating your epilepsy if in doubt.

Epilepsy: Please please consult your neurologist. Permethrin has many side effects that could impact on your condition, and depending on the medications you may be taking.
