At your age: It is normal to feel a sense of chaos and uncertainty. One of the skills necessary to navigate this very normal phase of life is to develop the ability to be comfortable with uncertainty, sure in the one certain fact that you are on the path you are meant to be on and you will know why later. Try to take each day, each moment as important in it’s own right and do your best at whatever you are doing, even such tasks as washing a dish or cleaning a floor. Make it a point to be with others and observe that they, too feel confused and unsure. Overthinking can lead to paralysis and prevent you from doing what you need to do in the moment. If you cannot shake the depression, please see a doctor.
