Tretinoin is a long: term treatment that takes 3 to 6 months of regular use to see maximum benefit. To reduce dry red skin remember to use only a very small amount each time, use a light & mild moisturizer afterwards (Aveeno (oatmeal) ultra-calming, Neutrogena sensitive, etc), and AVOID the sun. If you follow these rules but still have redness after three more weeks, see your doctor again to re-evaluate your usage regiment.

Soon!: So glad that your skin is getting better. Your redness should start to go away this month. You can back treatment down to every other day, also. This might help.
