Absolutely!: Certain viruses can cause pink eye, and it may show up later than the cold and sore throat symptoms.

Pink eye: Absolutely! Viruses can show up anywhere. Start with nose, then mouth, ears, eyes. No one pattern and no given time frame. Having said that, if the eye is red, tender, painful, crusty, has thick yellow or green discharge, or visual changes, you may have a secondary bacterial infection and get to your doctor ASAP. Don't delay eye symptoms.
