I've been on the evra patch for a year. dr told me to try to avoid getting period(keep replacing patch weekly) but lately getting period. not working?

See your OB: If you are breakthrough bleeding that could also be a sign of estrogen excess, since this patch insert claims you are exposed to higher doses of estrogens than standard BCP type contraceptives. You need to discuss this with your OB doctor and come up with a different type of contraception. Not sure the bleeding is a real period, if happening too early in your cycle...
