Enough pills already: Your psychotropic medications can cause sleepiness. Of the 15 mood-stabilizing medications, Seroquel (quetiapine) causes more sleepiness than 10 of them. Long-acting form, XR, causes less than short-acting. If you've gained weight or your BMI is 30 or >, ask your primary physician about a sleep study for sleep apnea. Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy may help, so your psychiatrist, not you, can lower your doses.

No: Some medications like quetiapine, can cause drowsiness . Increased weight can cause sleep apnoea and tiredness . There is no medication to stop sleeping . You can discuss with your doctor if there’s possibility of changing your medications . Try exercising that would help .
