Tricky: since I cannot see what you are describing. typically a circle that is spreding outward is ERYTHEMA ANNULARE and a sign of LYME not spider bites. But that is a LARGE circle. a small red area can be a bbite. reculse bites are most notable for causing death of tissue of up to an inch around the bite often with infection too. but, doesn't mean all bites or even most do that. other insects small bites
