After trying to get pregnant, when is a good time to go to the dr to see what is going on to why your not getting pregnant?

Age related: If you are under 30 and have had unprotected intercourse for one year then it is time to go to the MD to obtain and evaluation. since you are only 20, there is plenty of time to try. Women over age 30 to 35 have less time to wait and are encouraged to see the fertility MD after at least 6 months of unprotected intercourse instead of one year.

6 months: See your doctor for an evaluation if you do not conceive after 6 months of adequately timed intercourse (around ovulation).
