Anemia: The anemia can also be caused because of dietary reasons .drinkink too much milk and not eating enough green vegetables as well as fifth's disease can cause a transient anemia.Eating iron fortified cerals can help as well

See previous:: Anemia can be caused by 5th Disease, although there could also be a concurrent other cause for the anemia, so I wouldn't say for sure that's what it is from. You should speak to her doctor about other causes to be ruled out, for example, iron deficiency.

Don't panic: Many things, including current illnesses can influence blood counts. Along with the hemoglobin, the doctor is looking at other indices such as MCV, MCH, and MCHC to determine the what kind of anemia they are dealing with. Without knowing the actual age of your toddler - the hemoglobin is slightly low but not dangerously so. Discuss your child's dietary habits with your pediatrician.

Anemia: This is a borderline anemic value, not to worry too much. If recently ill it is possible to be low due to illness, however a toddler's diet typically predisposes them to iron deficiency anemia. If the rest of the blood counts are normal (platelets and WBC) then no reason to worry about something serious. Don't worry, may need some iron supplementation.
