Doubt prostate cance: You are not old enough to be at serious risk of prostate cancer. But you also are pretty young to need finasteride. Was it prescribed to you after an examination? if not, it is best to see a urologist to find out what exactly is going on. Can you give any more details of length of symptoms, and what they are and what tests or exam you have had?

Unclear question: I am not clear what your question is. Finasteride is a drug used to treat Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy (BPH), as well as male pattern hair loss. One of the potential risks of Finasteride is that it can mask an elevated PSA level, a marker for prostate cancer. However FInasteride does not cause prostate cancer. BPH often causes urinary frequency, hesitancy, and nocturia.
