Plantar Fasciitis: It could be plantar fasciitis which is inflammation of the tendon on the bottom of the foot right where it attaches at the heel. The pain is typically the worst first thing in the morning when you step out of bed and also when you stand up after sitting for a while. Use supportive shoes and get gel heel cups for them. Stretches of the foot / lower leg in the morning and evening.
