Not dementia!: In your age group the most common cause of memory dysfunction is depression or other mood disorder. Stressful times also cause poor concentration - you can be very distracted by all the issues you are dealing with. Practice "mindfulness" - being in the present moment and experiencing NOW. It takes some practice to do this because our culture is quite chaotic.
