May be a problem: If you broke two PFM bridges, which have a metal structure, you may have some issues with your bite or a bad bruxing problem. Zirconium is a type of ceramic, although stronger than porcelain. It would be best to have your dentists thoroughly evaluate things to look for reasons why bridges would keep breaking. Zirconium is strong but can break.

Zirconium = YES: I would look into zirconium for the final product but I would also look at the prep design and bite first. Great pros = strength and with todays technology the old cons of shade matching are getting much better.

Etiology: Must determine reason for failure. Did ceramic break or did bridge come off teeth ? #11 - 14 is a long span if only supported by those 2 teeth. #11 does double duty as it is a corner transition tooth and gets loaded in many directions. Overloading the bite and insufficient tooth to support this are most common causes. See a Prosthodontist for opinion. Consider 2 implants #12,13. Good Luck.
