A member asked:

What are the tests for shock?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Clinical diagnosis: Low blood pressure, rapid thready pulse, peripheral vasoconstriction, cold clammy skin are usual manifestations of shock. In septic shock the skin may be flushed rather than cold and clammy. No lab tests are needed for this diagnosis.
