See a dermatologist: Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is likely to have adverse effects on the baby such as sedation or excitation. It is an antihistamine. Antihistamines are useful for hives. They are not useful for rashes, even if an allergy. A rash "all over" had best be seen by a dermatologist. There are MANY possible types of rashes.
