Time: Try to identify what may be irritating his cheek and try to prevent him from rubbing it. Eucerin or Cetaphil cream may help. Sometimes a cool compress will help to soothe the area. If it looks angry or infected see his doctor. All the best.

Eczema: This may be an irritation, but is typical onset of eczema at this age. A dermatologist is best positioned to diagnose this. Early recognition and treatment can make a huge difference.
