It is normal: to have a bit of burning while having voluminous diarrhea. Topical anusol cream found at any local drug store may afford you some relief.

Pruritus ani: Pruritus ani (also known as anusitis) is the irritation of the skin at the exit of the rectum, known as the anus, causing the desire to scratch. Sometimes it can feel like burning and can be caused by the irritation of diarrhea. Adjust: diet (stay away from spicy foods or anything that may cause diarrhea). If diarrhea persists, you may try and OTC anti-diarrheal. If your symptoms persist for over a week see you doctor in the office for further evaluation. Best of luck!
