Yes: Increased emotional vulnerability (crying at little things, commercials on TV, even) can definitely be normal in pregnancy. Having said that, if there are issues that are stressful in your life, such as domestic violence or physical or emotional abuse, then of course I would recommend you see a therapist/counselor to discuss. If no stress, then just feeling teary-eyed is completely normal.

Crying: Significant hormonal changes are taking place right now which can heighten how one reacts emotionally. How you feel about the pregnancy can have even more impact. If you feel unable to perform your daily routine or feeling depressed, speak to your doctor ASAP.
