Possible, but ...: It's possible, but not likely. I would suggest you wait another week. If you haven't started by then, check another pregnancy test. If it is still negative, you may need to talk to your GYN.

Not likely: However, if you do not get a period in about 5 days, you may wish to repeat the pregnancy test. Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor.
