Could you please explain what right basal pneumonia is?

Location pneumonia: Right basal pneumonia is occurring at the inferior part of the right lung, anteriorly the middle lobe and posterior the lower lobe.

Means: Pneumonia( infection) seen as consolidation on the base of the right lung on CXR.

Pneumonia.: Pneumonia is an infection of a lobe of the lung, in this case the right lower lobe. Symptoms include cough, chest discomfort, shortness of breath, chills and sweats. Can develop quickly or can take some time, depending on the bacterium/virus involved. Signs include a measured fever and typical findings on a chest X-ray.
