How hard of a hit to head does it take for detached retina? i hit head on brow bone few wks ago, but didn't seem severe, now flicker of light, scared!

Pretty hard.: But if a diabetic it certainly can occur spontaneously. New flckers of light or new changes in vision would require an exam by an opthalmologist.
