Wait 1-2 hrs.: Wait 1-2 hrs Before taking prescription medication at this time, however, this is not to say that drinking alcohol & simply taking medications at a later time is a good or an acceptable thing. You should sacrifice the alcohol for as long as you are on medications. That is a general rule of thumb. Alcohol can inactivate medication or make their effects more potent which can mean more dangerous.

Latuda (lurasidone): I would recommend not drinking alcohol when you are on these types of medications, unless your doctor okays an occasional one. You should not skip the meds to have a drink.

Latuda (lurasidone) and beer: one beer - probably NOT an issue the package insert for Latuda (lurasidone) says to "avoid drinking alcohol while taking it" Trazodone may enhance the effects of alcohol. So bottom line - probably NOT a good idea but if only a small quantity of alcohol - probably no major problems.
