Not predictable: Metformin and clomid (clomiphene) are used to prepare you for pregnancy but there effects are not predictable .Both medication are used in cases of polycystic ovarian syndrome to stimulate ovulation. there are other factors involved besides ovulation to get pregnant the age ,weight and the sperm parameters can be an example of other factors
