More reliable test: Many things, including some drugs, can interfere with the regularity of the menstrual cycle and 7 days is still close to the limit of acceptable variations. If you have no reason to suspect that you are pregnant, then your preg test is most likely accurate but if in doubt get a more reliable (in a lab) pregnancy test
