Live in condo. neighbors smoke. furnace pulls air from outside. smell cigarette smoke about once a day coming from furnace vent. how harmful to baby?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No harm: We humans are not that fragile (otherwise, we would have gone extinct long ago). A baby born today will grow up surrounded by trace amounts of industrial/chemical contaminants in the air, water, ground, food, etc. There is no useful way to identify these contaminants or what their effects are. Yet, kids grow up fine. Some companies do make HEPA air filters for heating and air conditioning systems.
