Atopic dermatitis: You could try a moisturizer like AmLactin which has lactic acid ( alpha hydroxy acid) and will gently exfoliate or A&D ointment with Zinc oxide as zinc oxide promotes growth and is antifungal/ antibacterial . Discuss and follow up with dermatologist.
