Several things: Sometimes pain in the abdomen is not very well localized. Pain like this could come from the kidney / ureter / bladder. Sometimes liver / gallbladder. In your case could be coming from ovaries / fallopian tube or even uterus. If it is transient then most likely cause is intestines and is not much to worry about.

Pain: You could have a problem with your ovary, a kidney stone, adhesions, inflammatory bowel disease, pelvic inflammatory disease or mesenteric adenitis (swollen lymph nodes). A doctor's exam or an ultrasound/MRI can give you some answers

Many things!: Your gallbladder, ovaries, uterus, bladder liver, colon and muscles all can give you pain in that area. Furthermore, pain from other pats of the body can be referred to this area!
