Low blood sugar: A spike in blood glucose (from eating candy) is followed by a spike in insulin (which moves sugar from the blood into the cells) but these insulin spikes often "overshoot" resulting in hypoglycemia. So interestingly it is the high sugar levels which CAUSE the sugar crash/hypoglycemia later. Eat real food instead of sugar and this will stop. 2 other causes of hypoglycemia; diet soda and coffee.

Hypoglycemia: The low glucose after high sugar load is reactive hypoglycemia. You may have a tendency to run low. Eat small meals more frequently and avoid high carb loads. A handful of nuts, or a serving of plain yogurt may help tremendously. Make certain you consume protein with every meal. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!

Low sugars: I am not sure why your sugars are low. You need to see the Doctor and get some testing done. high insulin levels can sometimes cause this and tests to assure you do not have an underlying cause of such is recommended.
