Not likely: Dying from eating raw chicken is unlikely, but the chances are worse if you are already ill. Even if you are perfectly healthy, eating raw or undercooked poultry runs the risk of salmonellosis, a type of food poisoning. This can cause severe nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and belly pain, which could be fatal if you stared out ill enough. Proper food preparation and cooking can prevent that.

Salmonella: causes deaths in hundreds per year in the US BUT would tend to be susceptible people (no spleen, immunosuppressed, elderly, with heart or lung conditions, artificial valves). And.. would have signs of infection (gastrointestinal distress, fever, chills, etc.).
