A member asked:

What cells make up the majority of a testicle ? isn't it the sertoli/sperm cells?aren't the leydig just a small percentage?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Correct: The seminiferous tubules and sperm-producing cells make up about 90% of the testicular volume. The Sertoli cells which help support sperm production and the Leydig cells which produce >90% of the body's testosterone make up <5% of testicular volume and the remainder consists of blood vessels and connective tissue.
