Antifungal: probably such as Lotrimin (clotrimazole) OTC Ask your Pharmacist. Hope this helps Dr Z

Prob a fungal cream: They probably recommended an anti-fungal cream like clotrimazole. If it is a fungal rash then any over the counter anti-fungal cream will work. You could use Lamisil (terbinafine) or clotrimazole cream, etc. Just remember that there are other potential causes for that itch, including hemorrhoids, parasites, etc. So you may still need an appt and physical exam.
