Hormonal changes: The enlarged appearance is often one of the very earliest signs seen in a pregnant woman from a prolactin level rise - even before a missed period. Ovulation and the time until your period are common times too. Rather than being caused by PMS, it would be that both are caused by hormonal changes. If you do miss your period - do a pregnancy test. Best!
