I have umbilical hernia. surgery on tuesday. it's causing me lot of pain, but lactic acid test came back normal. no fever. will i be ok until tuesday?

Probably normal: But without being able to exam you or ask more questions I can't say for sure if you can wait until next week. Lactic acid alone doesn't tell me much. How much pain? Is it getting better? Is there drainage? Redness? Are you eating and drinking ok? Was it an open or lap hernia repair? Call your surgeon's office if in doubt and def keep your appointment.
