Not sure that I: understand the time line. Plan B is up to 95% effective if taken within 24 hours. It is recommended that it be taken within 72 hours. There is a decreasing level of protection up to 5 days out.

Yes: Plan B must be taken with in 72 hours to be effective and works best if taken within 24 hours. If your period is late do a pregnancy test and discuss your options of abortion, adoption, or having the baby and keeping it. Best wishes whatever you choose.
