Photophobia : It is a good idea to seek referral to a pediatric ophthalmologist just to make sure he does not have Congenital Glaucoma or or Cataracts. If his eyes are red, itchy, watery & light-sensitive for other reasons, the eye doctor may prescribe eyedrops. Encourage your son to wear a dark-colored cap or hat with a brim & sunglasses. Mom needs to see an ophthalmologist, also.
