Sounds as if: your baby is also becoming ill. Infants under the age of two months with a rectal temperature of 100.4 or higher should be emergently evaluated and not given Tylenol (acetaminophen). Older infants and children can be offered supportive and comfort care with pain/fever reducers until they have been evaluated by their pediatrician.
