Sure...: There's no standard symptoms. Breath testng is usually diagnostic in identifying sibo. For others, symptom response to empiric antibiotics aimed at treating suspected sibo may be equally helpful.

For the last three months, I've had bloating after each meal coupled with thinning stool and constipation. I had an endoscopy (normal), colonoscopy (removed 3 pollips), emptying test (normal), and so far one week on Xifaxan for SIBO, no improvement.
I have had very loose stools to diarrhea daily for 8 years. I also have bloating, pain, gas and weight gain. I was diagnosed with SIBO, finally tried Xyfaxan but no relief. Now Dr says I might have microscopic colitis. But, what about the weight gain?
