Dr told me on 4/24 that my baby was measuring 7w/5d fetal age fr the u/s and gave me a dd of 12/7. shouldn't my due date be 30w/1d fr 4/24?

Calculating length: 40 weeks is the length attributed to pregnancy. This is'counted' from the first day of your last menstrual period. If you were 7 and 5/7 on 4/24 then 30 and1/7 makes you just shy of 38 weeks, not 40 weeks.
