A member asked:

Pain after 2009 radiation of lower abdomen?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Need follow up: Regardless of whether or not you've had radiation therapy, abdominal pain isn't normal. Of course, it can be caused by simple factors such as maldigestion, constipation, muscle strain and the like but, since you've had radiation you shouldn't delay getting it evaluated. If you have a primary care physician, you could see him/her first. If not, go directly to your specialist.
