Globus=esophagitis: The sensation of something stuck in ur chest/throat is called "globus" in medical terminology & is often a sign of esophagitis (irritation of the esophagus). Ur symptoms sound like acid reflux or GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) leading to esophagitis.
