May be: that either your gallbladder was not the cause of your discomfort in the first place, or you have something else such as gastritis or heartburn from reflux. Did you have gallstones? How long ago was your surgery? See your primary care physician for an evaluation. You may need a Gastroenterology referral & endoscopy.
