A member asked:

Stopped bc pills, bled, started new pack 1.5 weeks after bleeding. 3.5 wks after bleeding, spotted for 6 days (mostly brown w/ 2 dys red). pregnant?

Possibly.: The menstrual cycle needs time to get back on track when oral contraceptive pills are back on board after having been stopped. If you are trying to get pregnant, it may take 3-6 months to get your regular cycle back after stopping the pills. That being said, I've seen patients get pregnant the next cycle after stopping their pill. I advise taking a pregnancy test to make sure.
