Not determinative: No add "test" is determinative, either for kids or adults. An experienced mental health expert may or may not even utilize a proprietary "test". Adults can easily be evaluated. Such an evaluation includes a thorough history &discussion with the expert, who then can employ 1 or more tests, or not, to provide additional info. In the end, the evaluator should use tests with which he/she has confidence.

Neurologic disorder: Adhd is a neurologic disorder, & as such has physical findings that are consistent with adhd. There are several exqmination signs that are proven to show adhd, or show consistency with it. It's a myth that there aren't tests for adhd. Since adhd is a disorder of brain executive function, tests of this can diagnose it. Most doctors are unaware of these neurologic findings.

Fair : If the diagnosis is made using standardized scales and information obtained from multiple sources, it is very likely to be accurate. Adding NEBA and/or cleared computerized tests may help in the diagnosis.
