Constipation.: Need good bowel regimen. It is not healthy. Unless you are taking opioids, or have what is called lazy bowel, you should have daily or 3/week BM. Drink water 80 Oz, eat fibers like muselli, oats, brans, fruits like pear, prunes, and papaya. Take stool softener daily. For now you need to take MOM or Magnesium Citrate to help severe constipation. Get examined if this is a chronic problem.

More fiber: Fiber from food or supplements can help bowels move more easily. Eat plenty of high fiber foods like beans, whole grains, &vegetables. If that doesn't help try fiber supplements either in capsules, wafers or powder. Non-absorbable laxatives like polyethylene glycol (MiraLax) can also help bowels move. If this doesn't work visit your GP for evaluation. Thanks for trusting HealthTap
