Get eval!: As stated, he may have a concussion or rarely something more serious like an internal Sub Dural hematoma. etc. Get eval ASAP to be safe. good luck

I'm not sure who...: Has the injury, headache and sleepiness. If the answer is the toddler take the little one in to the ER. Better to be safe. If the pediatrician can see the child today soon, that's probably better than straight to ER, but call and see what they recommend. If your temple was injured, do you have bruising and swelling at the site? If you are in pain, get a friend 2 get you to ER, help w/ childcare.
